Refresher on Government Hierarchy

"Let me explain the government to you. There’s God, then there’s the president and then there’s my father."

— Jack Roberts, the 6-year-old son of Chief Justice John Roberts, overheard speaking to one of his young peers on the last day of summer camp (as reported by the Examiner)

This is great. If John Roberts writes a parenting book you should purchase it.

I'm not that up on polotics, but I think there is a bit of sarcasm in this post. Is this not how the government works? I guess I have been misguided all along as well.

Thanks Jack, for the explanation. I appreciate you stating simple fact, rather than ranting on and on. I should get all my political info from 6 yr olds.

well in theroy I think this is how it does work... Sometimes we actually get the formula right, like this cabinet.

Dude, what can you say back to that? It's like those playground arguments, my dad could beat up your dad, oh yeah, my dad could sentence your dad to death and no one could overturn it. Bam, end of argument. Jack is a badass.

I'm enjoying his little victory dance too...who taught him? Al Gore?!

I thought the three were all in one, and one in all? That is what Marc told me anyway...

They're one in purpose.

Jack is concise AND well dressed! Check out that baby-blue shorts-suit!

Alice - I'll take my chances with Dr. Spock.

Maui - You've been misguided.

BA - Kid wins just about any playground argument... except maybe if he's arguing with Jenna Bush.

MS - Jack's a snazzy dresser... won't argue that.

TFB & BA - Certainly would make for an interesting millenium and eternity...

Yea, the worst one ever, because of the worst president & supreme court justice in history!!!

TFB - That isn't what I implied... it's just when I think of God, Bush and Roberts aren't usually conjured up. As for your statement, (1) I'm not big on Bush, but I'm not sure I'd say he's the worst President ever (2) Roberts is far from the worst Justice in history. While I disagree with some of his jurisprudence, I think he's very able pick who was rightly confirmed and will serve the court well.

So... interesting development. John Roberts was on Nightline last night and explained Jack's boogie-shakin'above as follows:

"People think Jack was dancing. He was not dancing. He was being Spiderman. He was shooting the webs off. ... There were spotlights and he figured, I might as well take advantage of it"
