Behold the mighty Beck'. Sure he's aging former superstar who's years past his prime... but he still BECKHAM. And, as of today, he's also America's. Goodbye Real Madrid, Hello L.A. Galaxy.
The reason for my extreme indifference is my lack of emotion about soccer. Soccer and hockey suck to watch. I think soccer players are great athletes bla bla bla, but games that end in a 0-0 tie are not very engaging.
OK, so this guy is about to make $250 Million Dollars! Thats over 4 million a month per his contract alone. Not to mention all the endorsements he will be getting. I would have to say, that this probably won't do much for MLS until other huge players decide to move here. It will be huge for Galaxy, and everwhere they go to play
Your blog got some props, that is a sweet link you might say... there would also be a sweet link on your blog if you were to add your freind steinhoist to your blog roll in a different area then the graveyard.
Tara - I won't argue with you there... and I'm a straight male
Steinhoist - BLIH is still in the graveyard, where it will stay unless it is resurrected or deleted. Steinhoist, however, has been added to friends blogroll. Welcome back my friend.
This wasn't real surprising, the rumors been around for at least a couple of years. There's 3 or 4 aging footie superstars that have expressed interest in finishing their careers in the mls. Cross your fingers!

I honestly could not possibly care any less. I mean, even if it meant more pictures of Posh, she has gone down hill since her Spice Girl hayday.

I wish it were Luca Toni, that handsome devil from the Italian world cup team.
BA - Come on... admit it. You still have a thing for Victoria.
Steinhoist - Pretty insane, eh?
Sue Ellen - Not a Beckham fan are we?
So the Washington Post blog round up picked up on this post... apparently it doesn't take much to be counted as news these days.
Beckham is hot. I always try to have Seth do his hair like David and he just gets mad.
Yes I agree with blondemama. Beckham is H.O.T. Hot. And really that is all that matters.

And that goes to everyone that might read this.
Simon - Hmmm... greatest gift of ALL?
Blondemama - It's all about the fauxhawk

So apparently Beckham might be opening the floodgates. Rumor has it that Ronaldo is possibly joining the New York Red Bulls.
Camille?! A rugby fan?!! I never knew!!!
Ach. Football/soccer -- a gentleman's game, played by ruffians. We all know real men play rugby (a ruffians' game, played by gentlemen).
Actually, "fan" is very generous wording. But I'm working on it. I'll keep you updated.
