Who says Brigham Young University is no longer a dynasty? For the ninth straight year BYU tops Princeton Review's list of "Stone-Cold Sober" schools (a ranking based on a combination of survey questions concerning the use of alcohol and drugs, hours of study each day, and the popularity of fraternities). BYU also placed first in the "Don't Inhale" and "Got Milk" categories (on how widely the student body partakes of beer and marijuana, respectively), and came in a strong second in the "Scotch and Soda, Hold the Scotch" category (on how widely hard liquor is enjoyed). Wait a minute... is that right? Do jack Mormons at the 'Coug (along with the one or two of BYU's ten non-LDS students) really like their Jim Beam a wee bit more than their Bud Light?

So let me get this straight, BYU students don't PARTY, but they do drink LIQUOR... what, they drink it alone, when no one is watching? We have a word for that. ALCOHOLICS.
Go Utes.
The article at some point mentions that BYU has been Stone Cold Sober’s first place for the 9th straight year... I wonder who was first ten years ago and then I realized it was ten years ago that I stopped going to BYU. I am sure there is no correlation, but still rather disturbing/interesting.
Alice... do you need to talk with your Bishop?
I think the statute of limitations has expired.
Beer, weed, liquor, oxycontin, heroin, I can't get enough! Go Cougs!
Just one more reason I didn't attend the Y.
Ok who am I kidding they would never take me anyway.
Is their a ranking for most caffeine free fountain drinks? Pretty sure BYU would win that one too. How about lamest student body? BYU again!!
Go Utes!! :)
(I'm kidding BYU people, don't get all worked up now..)
That was a good one, Tara. High Five!
Second in the "scotch and soda..." ?!? I am sorely disapppointed in the coug. What is next, they'll get third in the "Knee Length Shorts and hold the Tank Top"?
Are they usually first, Ali? Because if you're talking about a new topless bermuda short dress code then BYU was robbed; THAT to me spells party.
Sheldon - There has been movement on the list... at least below the #1 spot.
Cincinattus - Don't need to ask about your alma mater, do I?
Alice - (1) Touché (2) In answer to your first question, Deep Springs College in Dyer, Nevada was first 10 years ago.
BA - We're talking about the Coug here Brian... not Sundance.
Maui - The Coug' may never have taken you... but I'll take you anytime.
Tara - Hmmm... maybe you and Cincin' should hang out.
McDreamy - We can't let it happen McDreamy... we need to start a capped-sleeve revolution.
You know Marc if you respond to each comment individually, then it ups your comment count, which in turn makes you look more popular. You need to take some blogging lessons from Garg.
Who the crap is Cincin?
While I'm not quite sure who Cincin' is exactly... I know he contributes to the blog Let Your Mind Alone that several of my Mormon classmates post on.
Speaking of BYU....is it true that the new football billboard has a picture of the team and underneath it states: "Weapons of Mass Destruction"???
cincinattus... you know... agrarian.
all i know, is that you should read the fine print of the honor code before signing anything. When i got kicked out for being a boozed up sex fiend who regularly broke out in fits of public masturbation it was a complete shock to me. They should have at least given me a warning first.
