Oh now, we don't get another album from and OVER RATED fat rapper. Boo hoo. Maybe rappers will learn how to come up with their own music now.

Beastie Boys fans everywhere will take offense at your slight of a key component of Beastie Boys music.

Gettin' your old stuff used on a rappers record should be taken as a compliment whether you like rap or not. Like the rest of the world it all comes down to $£.....

Wow, four dinners (if that is your true name) your pic is about as original as a P-diddy rap. I remember when I was 16 and flipping off the camera was cool. I think I saw some pictures of Lindsey Lohan giving the bird to a camera too, so you're in good company...all you badasses.

He's in quite good company indeed.

Marc, that picture was taken before color photographs existed. So Johnny may have started this whole flipping off the camera thing in the late 1800s. Four dinners is proudly carrying the torch into the 2006s.

I also remember when my older sister went through her "rebelious" phase in junior high and she would flip me (or anyone) off behind our mom's back. She thought she was so cool...

I think if you did a poll of the most common picture on MySpace or any other lame ass loser meeting ground website, the most popular picture you would find is the "I'm angry, I flip you the bird" picture. Congrats on your originality.

Johnny Cash notwithstanding, I think you all present a compelling argument.

I am glad that Marc posted the original ad that was run in the billboard music magizine by Johnny Cash, and Rick Rubin. (yep bringing the blog full circle back to the B-Boys)They used this photograph for the intended purpose of flipping off not the camera but, it was actually targeted at some specific individuals not being used as a broad "I hate you all" type of gesture.
